Hello there! And welcome to my new blog! I had every intention of having this blog up and going by May 1st to kick off Arthritis Awareness month but life seemed to get in the way and it just didn't happen. Better late than never right?
I decided to start this blog out of need to reach and encourage other people that are struggling with autoimmune diseases. Whether it's Lupus, Osteoarthritis, Rheumatoid Arthritis, Fibromyalgia etc., we are all suffering on a daily basis and sometimes just need someone who 'gets it'.
I am a wife, a mother, a daughter, a sister, a friend and an employee. And I was diagnosed with Rheumatoid Arthritis almost 13 years ago at the age of 16. At the age of 20 I was diagnosed with Fibromyalgia. I will get more into my story in an upcoming post, but maybe you or a loved one is dealing with a similar diagnosis. Maybe you're a husband or wife, a parent or just a friend to someone who's life has changed by by these terrible diseases. It is my hope through this blog you can find hope and encouragement!
If there is just one person out there that can be encouraged by my life and story then this is absolutely worth it!!
